Integrate your Social Networks with Nimble
Posted by elancarson85
Looking to integrate all of your social media networks into one package? Check out Nimble.com, a site dedicated to organizing all of your contacts into an easy to follow system.
Nimble works in this way, the program takes all of your contacts from Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn, and brings them together in one unique holding ground. All of the business and personal contacts from your social networks are in one place. They are still categorized appropriately, and in fact once you set up a Nimble account, you classify which contact belongs to each group by company or personal name.
When searching for someone, you can also look him or her up by where they work, and this will initiate a list of users who also work at the same business. This is a cool feature, because it will bring up all users from each network, showing who has Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or any combo of the three.
To gather more information about that person, you can scroll over their name
and view their information and the network to which they belong. You can also update statuses, stop following someone, or directly access Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. If you want to view all of their status updates, that’s a useful feature as well available in the right panel.
Another capability of Nimble is that you can synchronize the program with your Google calendar. From there you can assign tasks to various people that will upload to their profile, a nice way to build a virtual work team.
Right now, there is no fee to use Nimble.com. You don’t have to worry about synching anything to your computer or whether Nimble is compatible or not because it’s all web-based. The only thing you need is your name and email address to sign-up.
